About Dr. Yalamanchilli
Haritha Yalamanchilli, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Prima Medicine, with two locations in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area: Fairfax and South Riding, Virginia. Dr. Yalamanchilli has over two decades of experience in primary care and urgent care settings treating children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Yalamanchilli earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Sri Venkateswara Medical College Tirupati in India. She completed externships at Alma Illery Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where she did clinical rotations in the critical care unit, intensive care unit, and internal medicine.
She then completed her residency training in family medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) McKeesport Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. To further her training, Dr. Yalamanchilli completed a women’s health fellowship at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse, New York.
Over the last decade, Dr. Yalamanchilli has served diverse patient populations in various cities across Virginia, offering everything from physical exams and primary care treatment to preventive services and chronic disease management. Dr. Yalamanchilli is known by her patients as a great listener who is compassionate and attentive at all times.
