About Megan Chirichella, FNP
Megan Chirichella, MSN, FNP-C, is an accomplished nurse practitioner with six years of diverse clinical experience and a dedication to advancing patient care. She has a Masters of Science in Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner training at Simmons University. Megan’s clinical expertise spans adult and pediatric primary care, women’s health, and palliative care. Her professional foundation is built on critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and managing complex medical scenarios. Megan is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) and holds additional certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Megan practices Primary Care at Prima Medicine, and is accepting new patients.
In her prior position as a Medical Intensive Care Nurse at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Megan provided comprehensive care to critically ill patients and was a code response nurse hospital-wide. She demonstrated leadership as a charge nurse, mentoring new nurses, and managing unit operations. Prior to that, Megan excelled as a Post Anesthesia Care Nurse, ensuring patient stability post-surgery and cross-training across multiple levels of care.
