Registered Dietitian & Weight Loss Program Dietician

About Nicole Lori, RD
“I like to Empower my patients to transform their health through science-based, compassionate, and personalized nutrition.”
Nicole Iori, RD, is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with Prima Medicine, serving patients across all Prima Medicine locations in Northern Virginia, including Fairfax, South Riding, Tysons, and Merrifield.
As a core member of the Prima Weight Loss Program, Nicole plays a vital role in helping patients achieve sustainable, healthy results through medical nutrition therapy and personalized coaching.
Known for her ability to blend evidence-based science with practical, real-life strategies, Nicole empowers patients to take charge of their health with clarity, confidence, and compassion. Whether supporting weight management, diabetes care, or gut health, her approach focuses on the whole person — not just the numbers on a scale.
Professional Philosophy
Nicole’s guiding principle is simple: “Meet patients where they are.”
She understands that food is deeply personal — and that change requires empathy, education, and accountability. Her mission is to help patients understand why nutrition matters, not just what to eat.
Through her work with the Prima Weight Loss Program, Nicole combines individualized meal planning, lifestyle coaching, and metabolic monitoring to help patients achieve measurable progress in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
Her sessions go beyond prescriptive diets. They’re about teaching patients how to:
- Rebuild a healthy relationship with food
- Manage chronic conditions through nutrition
- Maintain long-term weight loss without deprivation
- Improve energy, sleep, and overall quality of life
At Prima Medicine, she collaborates closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and health coaches to ensure every patient receives coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
Current Role: Registered Dietitian & Weight Loss Dietician

- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) — Commission on Dietetic Registration
- InBody Certified — Advanced body composition and bioimpedance analysis
Her training at Cornell University equipped her with the scientific foundation and leadership skills that define her work today. Nicole continues to expand her expertise in metabolic and diabetes nutrition and is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). She stays current on advances in GLP-1 therapy, nutrigenomics, and behavioral psychology in weight management — essential fields that inform her role within Prima Medicine’s patient-centered model.
