The doctors at Prima Medicine, specially Dr. Rao, (Prima Concierge) are excellent. Dr. Rao was always concerned and took such great care of me in managing my chronic illnesses. The whole staff was professional, friendly and worked very well in ensuring that I also receive quality care. I even convinced my 84-year old mom to switch to Prima. Excellent Experience. Dr Haritha Yalamanchilli is very caring, considerate, benevolent having in-depth knowledge and medical professional expertise and and immense patience to listen to the patient. She has incredible insight to diagnose and plan to treat the ailments. She deserves all accolades,she is the best physician .

Dr. Yalamanchilli is an excellent doctor who listens to patient concerns, thoroughly explains diagnosis and treatment options to ensure you feel comfortable and informed about your healthcare decisions. She is vested in patient well-being. However, the process to deal with insurance prescription pre-authorizations and appeals is less than ideal. An efficient system is needed to prevent delays in treatment as well as an understanding of the nuances around drug insurances companies to navigate the pre-auth and appeals processes, like dealing with a manager to discuss issue and asking for a special exception supported by documentation. Admin patient advocacy is critical to receive the right medication needed by the patient who knows what drugs have worked and what hasn't. It is an artform to navigate insurance companies and little time for medical practices manage insurance. After repeated requests from the pharmacy with no response from the practice for further information needed the medication was denied. I contacted my insurance and found it was simply the right form for the doctor to complete.
