Medical Office Manager

An Opportunity to take your Leadership skills to the next level.

We are looking for a qualified Medical office manager with medical billing experience to run our medical office. You will be responsible to ensure smooth office operations, budgeting of office expenses, tracking collections, ensuring good (customer) patient service, and optimally managing staff schedules. You will be closely working with the owner to implement weekly plans.

As a medical office manager, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform well in stressful situations. Our position requires knowledge of Medical office systems operations. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our two medical office locations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and create office budget
  • Monitor and follow up on accounts receivables.
  • Order medical and office supplies. Keep track of inventory.
  • Work with owner to implement office policies and procedures
  • Implement staff training programs. Work with owner to create staff training programs.
  • Supervise office staff, including receptionists and medical assistants.
  • Ensure that office appointment schedules are optimized,
  • Staff training and staff Quarterly review.
  • Interface with vendors related to daily operations such as cleaning staff and maintenance services.

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a medical office manager
  • Experience with medical billing and collections.
  • Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative processes
  • Knowledge of medical issues and terminology, HIPAA
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations
  • Communication skills and a customer service orientation
  • BS degree in Healthcare Administration, Business , Nursing Administration or Bachelors in a relevant field is preferred.
