Prima Medicine – South Riding Office

10/10 recommend Shannon if you go to this Prima location!!! She’s amazing she listens to you vent about your concerns then responds with her professional input - the front desk staff and the rest of the staff who check our weight and do the body composition are also amazing! Everyone at the fair ridge location are just overall great lol. I send all my close friends here!

Customer service at its finest! The front desk staff members were all extremely pleasant, warm, and welcoming, - even despite squeezing me into what I’m sure was a busy day and also time sensitive last minute end of the day appointment request, everyone was cheerful and happy to assist in any way!!! I also want to rave about Dr. Sylvia Luther, who took so much time care and concern to ensure all of my questions were answered and issues addressed before I left (for what I’m certain was likely one of her last appointments of the day). My normal location is the south riding location, but Prima’s scheduler was able to quickly get me into their Fair Ridge location in Fairfax, which was not only convenient, but also a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this practice, its providers, and the overall patient experience is outstanding! Special shout out to the doctor again, as well as Ivania, who was also super pleasant and assisted the doctor during the visit. Also a huge extra shout out snd kudos to Natasha whom i met during my return visit! She was wonderful supportive patient snd kind as well - Andrea at the Front Desk also pleasant and extremely efficient - this office is customer service with a smile AT ITS FINEST!!!

Dr. Yalamanchilli is terrific. She is always attentive listens knows her patients and understands well the health challenges at any age. Highly recommend the SR office, the medical staff and administrators always greet patients with a smile and it’s obvious they enjoy their work help others.

Excellent Experience. Dr Haritha Yalamanchilli is very caring, considerate, benevolent having in-depth knowledge and medical professional expertise and and immense patience to listen to the patient. She has incredible insight to diagnose and plan to treat the ailments. She deserves all accolades,she is the best physician .

Dr. Yalamanchilli is an excellent doctor who listens to patient concerns, thoroughly explains diagnosis and treatment options to ensure you feel comfortable and informed about your healthcare decisions. She is vested in patient well-being. However, the process to deal with insurance prescription pre-authorizations and appeals is less than ideal. An efficient system is needed to prevent delays in treatment as well as an understanding of the nuances around drug insurances companies to navigate the pre-auth and appeals processes, like dealing with a manager to discuss issue and asking for a special exception supported by documentation. Admin patient advocacy is critical to receive the right medication needed by the patient who knows what drugs have worked and what hasn't. It is an artform to navigate insurance companies and little time for medical practices manage insurance. After repeated requests from the pharmacy with no response from the practice for further information needed the medication was denied. I contacted my insurance and found it was simply the right form for the doctor to complete.
