I had to change doctors after 20 years and found Dr. Rao's office through a list of local Privia doctors. My first appointment/physical with Dr Rao went great. I went to the South Riding office which is only open 2 days a week...but a very convenient for me. The Dr was friendly and took her time. The front office staff met me (and others) with smiles and were also very friendly and accommodating.

As a new patient, I had a very good first experience. The friendly front desk offered reasonable appointment times. The lab technician was polite, professional, and did a wonderful job with my blood draw! Dr. Rao was very patient and through reviewing my complicated history. I felt she was sincerely interested, not rushed. This office is a rare find in today’s health care environment!
