We had very good experience with Dr. Yalamanchilli. We had visited many facilities in the past. We have received good care and she explained all about health and what need to do to take care. I see quick recovery from my issues.
The staff were friendly and professional. Wait times were not very long. Overall, I had a very positive experience.
Really appreciated NP Rodino’s genuine care in her medical approach and treatment regiment. She listens and provides excellent advice in treatment and lifestyle changes to address health issues or concerns, and not just throwing meds at a situation. Everyone in the practice seems to truly have the patient’s care as the primary focus. Highly recommend Prima Medicine.
First visit with Prima Medicine following a Referral. I was extremely impressed with their patience in scheduling/re-scheduling around work and kids school conflicts, and answering my questions. Scheduling/Office Mgrs are patient and very helpful Medical Assistant I met with was very nice and answered questions and didn’t rush me. Nurse Practitioner Surin Rodino was very thorough, patient and offered many suggestions. And Phlebotomist was very efficient, quick, and professional. Prima uses a lot of technology too…to help facilitate the efficient gathering of data/info. Questionnaire pre-visit online worked quite well too so I didn’t have a bunch more paperwork when I got there.
The staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Kalter is great. She talks with you and listens to your opinion. Couldn’t ask for more.
Dr. Rao was very patient. We discussed my concerns in detail. She was not rushed. Very pleasant bedside manner. Office was clean and well organized, assistive staff were pleasant and respectful. I had minimal wait time. Received orders for lab work and imaging at conclusion of visit. I felt well supported in my health matters.

This practice is great. Dr. Rao and her staff are kind and responsive. The doctor is always attentive and acts with genuine care, treats you like a human and not just another list of symptoms to react to. She works WITH you to improve overall health (if that is your desire). I’m glad that I’ve found such a helpful doctor.

Probably the most welcoming and relaxing physicians office I’ve ever been in. I’m always so comfortable talking to the staff and they have really helped me with all of my health concerns. Never going anywhere else in the DMV!
This was my first visit to Dr Rao’s office. I was very impressed with the timeliness with which I was attended to. My experience with most doctors offices has been that there is a lot of wait time before meeting with the doctor. The receptionist and nurse were also very courteous. Dr Rao, explained the details of the blood work and the readings. Overall, I had a good experience.

I had my first visit to Prima Medicine today (4/24/21) in Fairfax). I was enormously impressed with all aspects of the practice: very cordial and professional receptionists and secondary medical personnel. My one-hour appointment with certified Nurse Practitioner Rena Kalter revealed a thoroughly dedicated and caring medical professional who possesses extraordinary expertise and a delightful personality. As a full-time college professor, I would award the grade of A-Plus to the entire Prima Medicine team!
