This was first visit to a Prima Medical. I didn’t have to wait very to go back to a treatment room. I saw the Nurse Practitioner and she very thorough in her assessment of my symptoms and she listened to what I was experiencing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mandana Shafai for many years, and I can say without hesitation that she is an outstanding primary care physician. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and highly-skilled in her work. What I appreciate most is her genuine compassion and the care she shows for her patients — she takes the time to listen, explain things clearly, and make thoughtful decisions that reflect her deep understanding of medicine and her patients’ specific medical needs. Over the years, she has provided me with excellent medical care and guidance, and I always feel confident that I am in the best hands. I highly recommend Dr. Shafai to anyone seeking a skilled, caring, and excellent primary care physician. I also want to commend Lyn, she is the administrative assistant, and is incredibly responsive, always quick to return calls or answer questions, and does so with genuine kindness. It’s clear she truly cares about patients and goes above and beyond to make everything in this medical practice runs smoothly.

Liz was attentive and professionally instructed the intern while checking my vitals during my check up. Dr. Torno reviewed my lab results and made recommendations. She listened to my concerns and provided insight on alternate medications. Front office staff and lab tech were friendly.
Woke up feeling lousy & was pleasantly surprised when someone answered phone shortly agfter 7:30 AM. Was able to get a same day apptmt!!
I love this place, I was new to FFX when I found this place looking for a primary care. They have two facilities one is an urgent care and the other is a regular doctor’s office. I have been seeing Dr. Josephine Torno, she is amazing and added bonus she is a fellow Filipina. She loves her profession and passionate about the work that she does. I highly recommend her. The office staff are professional and friendly, easy check in, and they have their own facility when blood work is required. The office is affiliated with big hospital such as Inova and VCS. Last fall (2024), I was glad Dr. Torno referred me to get mammogram screening and because of it. I had an early detection and I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Ten months later, I am doing a lot better, I completed chemo treatment, surgery, and radiation treatment. Which saved my life, I am not a paid endorser, I am simply sharing my experience.
The most important and reason of my wife going to prima medicine clinic is the combination of the respectful team working there and my wife’s very professional, kind and the best of all doctors, DR. JOSEPHINE TORNO. Not only she has the best knowledge of physicians, but also her kindness and special care to every patient, make the patient feels relax, comfortable and confident of her diagnose and treatment options. No matter where we live, but we are so sure that any clinic she be, for sure we will be there.
The wait wasn’t long. I had a nurse check my vitals then led to the medical examination room. In no time Surin Rodino attended to me & prepared my prescription.

The office staff are very pleasant. Short wait and a productive visit with Dr. Rao. My wife and I have been going to her for three years now and have been happy with her attention to our health. She is very capable and explains her views and approaches to the problems very clearly. Dr. Rai has expanded her office with additional doctors, staff, and space. A warm and welcoming office environment.
Dr Janice McMillan was great, went over everything including past history and asked me lots of questions regarding my condition and gave me information on my drugs and add one more that would help my meter reading as well as dropping one to bring my numbers down?
